Plan cleaner availability for the week
Record who is available on which days in Resource Planning, and know what changing a status does to existing assignments.
Team Management → Resource Planing opens the board where staffing capacity is recorded. Staff run down the rows, dates across the columns, and each cell holds that person’s availability for that day.
Two boards over the same data
The sidebar link opens the newer board, marked Preview. The older grid is still there behind the Classic view button, and both read and write the same availability records — you are not choosing between two sets of data, only two ways of editing it.
The new board offers Brush grid and Week board modes. Week board steps a week at a time; brush mode takes a date range, capped at a maximum span.
Set availability
Click a day cell to set that person’s state. The available values are:
AvailableTime OffVacationOn Call
A cell nobody has touched shows as Not set, which is not the same as available — an empty board means no one has told the system anything yet. Where a pattern is stable, mark it Repeats weekly rather than filling in each date by hand. The legend above the grid explains how each state is drawn.
Find the people you care about
Use Select User Roles to limit the board by role, and the Show Inactive Users switch to bring archived staff back into view. The staff search bar adds three toggles that are quicker than reading along rows: Not scheduled, Has note, and Time off.
Notes attach to both days and staff rows. Use them for what a status cannot say — someone finishing early, a trainee shadowing, a van off the road.
Changing the availability of someone who already has work on the schedule warns you that the change will remove those assignments. That is a cascade delete, not a flag — accepting it drops the jobs from their schedule. If someone calls in sick after dispatch, decide whether you want the assignments cleared before you change their status, because you will be re-dispatching by hand afterwards.
