Broadcast news to field staff

Team Management → News is the broadcast channel to field staff. Items appear in the staff app rather than being emailed, so this is the place for operational notices that should sit where people already work.

Write the item

Create News opens a drawer with Title and a rich-text Content editor, both required. Type distinguishes a General notice from a System one, which is worth keeping honest — reserve System for things staff must act on, or it stops carrying weight.

Choose where it appears

Platform Targeting offers Mobile and Web, both ticked by default. Targeting is platform-only: there is no way to send an item to one company, role, or region, so assume everybody sees it and write accordingly.

Publish and pin

Two switches control visibility. Published decides whether staff see the item at all; Pinned holds it at the top of the list. Use pinning sparingly — several pinned items at once is the same as none pinned.

Existing items can be pinned, unpinned, published, or unpublished from the row menu without reopening the editor. The grid always sorts newest first, whatever you click.

Removing an item

Deleting asks for confirmation and warns that it cannot be undone. Where an item is merely out of date rather than wrong, unpublishing keeps the text available to you while removing it from staff.

Published is switched on by default in the create drawer. Pressing Create on a half-finished draft broadcasts it immediately to every staff member on both platforms. If you are writing something you intend to review before sending, turn that switch off first — there is no scheduled-send or approval step to catch it.
