Connect a channel and avoid double bookings

A channel connection pushes your availability out and pulls reservations back in. Most double bookings come from a mapping mistake, not a sync failure.

Map every unit

Each listing on the channel must point at exactly one unit here. If two channel listings map to the same unit, both can sell the same night before the sync catches up.

Watch the first sync

The initial sync can take up to thirty minutes. Until it finishes, the connection shows as Pending — do not change rates during this window, as the channel may overwrite them.

When something looks wrong

1. Open the channel’s status page and check the last successful sync time.
2. Compare a single date’s availability on both sides.
3. Use Force resync only after confirming the mapping is right; it re-pushes everything and is slow.
