Work with the schedule, calendars and blocked dates
Use the Schedule board, resolve calendar blocks into jobs, and read the maintenance schedule view.
Alongside recurring rules, the Jobs management group holds the day-to-day scheduling surfaces: Schedule, Schedule Maintenance, Calendar Management and Bags.
The Schedule board
The Schedule page is the assignment board. Its toolbar carries a job mode selector with All, Cleaning and Maintenance, a Toggle View control, a Refresh data button, an Auto Fill action for filling assignments, and Schedules Change Log for the audit trail of who changed what.
Calendar Management and blocks
The Calendar Management menu item opens the version 2 calendar: a grid of units down the side and dates across the top, with a pinned Options selection column and a Name grouping column. It surfaces Reservations, Minimum Night Stay and Notes per unit and date, and lets you record a stay with Select check-in date, Select check-out date, Enter full guest name and Enter host note.
A calendar block is a date range on a unit that is not a guest booking — the block types are Maintenance, Other, Owner Stay and Vip, and each block is either Unresolved or Resolved. Resolving a block is how you turn it into real work. Open Resolve Calendar Block from the calendar and you get a form with the block’s start and end dates, its Status and Type, the calendars it applies to, and a set of per-date rows where you choose a Date and a job Type. The type options are prefixed by discipline — [Cle], [Aud], [Mai] — so you can tell at a glance whether a row will produce a clean, an audit or a maintenance task. Saving spawns those jobs and marks the block resolved.
The form validates hard: you will see Checkin is required, Checkout is required, Status is required, Type is required, Subtype is required and Cleaning date is required until every row is complete.
Schedule Maintenance
Schedule Maintenance is a read-only board of maintenance work across a date range, sorted by handyman. Its columns are Handyman, Title, Dispatch Type, Unit, Time Budget, Purchase List, Date, Next Check In and Checkout. Unassigned rows show No Assignees in red, which makes it the fastest way to spot maintenance that will not get done. There is a Today button and a date range picker limited to a three-month window; the view is for reading, not editing.
Bags
Bags is a separate Cleanover application embedded in the admin shell. The page hosts it in a frame with an Open in New Tab button, so linen and supply bag tracking is done entirely in that app rather than in the admin database.
Dates in the scheduling area are stored as wall-clock time at the property, deliberately without timezone conversion, because the channel feeds — Hostaway, Airbnb, VRBO, iCal — return property-local times. Recurring occurrences are the exception: they carry a real timezone and their
Time of day (unit local time)is resolved against the unit’s zone by the server. Do not assume a time you see on the calendar and a time you see on a recurring occurrence were derived the same way.
